Parramatta Community Hub

CCA offers Community Hub groups at our Parramatta office. Our Hub groups also venture out into the Parramatta area and are frequent visitors to the local cafes around the Parramatta River.

CCA actively promotes independence and autonomy for every single person who receives our services so that they make their own choices and decision to lead life the way they wish.

Holiday Hubs are also a great way to learn new skills and make new friends over the holiday periods. They are filled with a range of daily trips and fun activities in our Parramatta office and across Sydney.

Dharug Traditional Owners

Community Connections Australia (CCA) acknowledges the Traditional Owners of this land, the Dharug People.

For over 60,000 years, the area now known as Parramatta has been home to the Burramattagal people, a clan of the Dharug.

They originally settled along the upper part of the Parramatta River.

The name Burramattagal is believed to come from an Aboriginal term meaning 'place where eels breed'.
